TRAVEL GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS

(MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL)

New Traveller’s Checklist

• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior arrival in Malaysia.
• Holding valid visa (if required).
• Submit their Malaysia Digital Arrival Card - MDAC (imi.gov.my) three (3) days prior arriving in All travellers must show both their passports and the completed MDAC to the Immigration officer on duty upon arrival.
• Holding return flight tickets and sufficient fund to stay in Malaysia.
• Vaccination requirements remain subject to Airline regulations.
• Travellers found to have symptoms upon arrival will be referred to the health ministry for examination.

Categories exempted to submit Malaysia Digital Arrival Card :

• Those transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance.
• Malaysia Permanent Resident & Long-term pass holder.
• Malaysia Automated Clearance System (MACS) Holder.

• Info : The Auto Gate system facilities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) which previously was limited to Malaysians, will now be eligible to foreigners from the low-risk and G7 countries. Infographic on Countries Eligibility + How to Register.
• First-time visitors will not be able to use the auto gate as they are required to submit the MDAC three days before arriving and then enrol and verify their passports manually at Immigration counters.

We *strongly* encouraged ALL TRAVELLERS

• Consider arranging Travel Health Insurance if *visiting* ANY foreign countries. This may help to minimise loss in the event of travel disruption, hospitalisation, repatriation, burial, theft etc whilst away from home countries.
• Obtain latest travelling SOP from the Airline prior to departure, to avoid any travel disruption.
